Joyful Ceramic Bird - Baby Pink

Little ceramic bird sculptures made to bring you joy!

I usually make these little guys outdoors in the fresh air – I can enjoy watching the birds – who are watching me making birds! It’s truly my happy place and I hope to pass on the love and joy to you through them.

These little birds are how it all began – I was featured on a BBC1 programme making these Joyful Birds, and I’ve been making them with love ever since.

I just love their simple form – their round bellies make them really pleasing to hold and soothing to stroke.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the one in the photo the same as the one I'll get?

They're all very similar - but they wouldn't be handmade if they were identical.

So there'll be slight variations but that's what makes them unique and extra special - no two are the same!

Do you use moulds?

No, they're all sculpted individually.

I did try using moulds when I first started but I really didn't like how they felt.

Are they fragile?

They're made from a high firing robust stoneware clay - it's important to me that they can be held and loved without worrying about damaging them.

Can they be left outside?

I think this would make them sad, so no.
