Out of stock

A stylised one-of-a-kind unique sculpture of a Barn Owl in stoneware clay.

Hand built from stoneware clay using the ancient coiling technique where rolls of clay are coiled on top of each other. This clay Barn Owl has been decorated with underglaze colours and a transparent glaze over the eyes and beak.

I love creating owl sculptures with smooth surfaces and a simplified aesthetic whilst still retaining soul.

Size – Approx 27cm in height

Made from a high-firing robust stoneware clay, this Barn Owl sculpture is built to last.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the one in the photo the same as the one I'll get?

Yes. These are one of a kind sculptures.

Do you use moulds?

No, I start with a bag of solid clay and create a hollow form.

Are they fragile?

They're made from a high firing robust stoneware clay - it's important to me that they can be held and loved without worrying about damaging them.

Can they be left outside?

They can, but like any organic material they are susceptible to frost and freezing temperatures.
