Blackbird Sculpture

The first to get up and the last to go to bed. Blackbirds make the most of every day. 

They may come in less popular in the polls than Robins, but watching them bringing up their young in my garden is one of my yearly highlights. 

I know they're special to my Dad too after the one that had been following him around joined him in the greenhouse. 

I think their song is one of the most beautiful. No wonder the Beatles did a song about them.
