Bittern sculpture

That feeling when you finally get to see a Bittern is pure joy! 

My sighting was just by pure chance. A huge shout out to the gentleman who forewarned me in the hide that he'd seen one earlier that day. There's something quite prehistoric-looking about them. Marvelous birds.
