Common Blue Butterfly
I know we're not supposed to have favourites, but if I WERE to choose a favourite butterfly, it would be the Common Blue Butterfly.
Why? Well, just look at them!
They have the sweetest faces, and that fuzzy silvery blue fluff makes them look so soft - like one of the Muppets. If Cookie Monster was a butterfly...
When I say small, I mean REALLY small. Their wingspan is only about 3.5cm! Luckily for me, a friend told me that they snooze and when they do you can get really close without disturbing them, which meant I could take some time to get some closeup photos!
